The University of Navarra is a private ecclesiastical college spotted on the southeast outskirt of Pamplona, Spain. It was established in 1952 by St. Jose Maria Scoria de Beleaguer, the author of Opus Dei, as a corporate work of the apostolate of Opus Dei.

After the establishment of the Faculty of Philosophy in 1955 and the Business School, IESE, in 1958, the studio General de Navarra was created as a college by The Holy See on August 6, 1960, and Escriva was assigned as the Great Chancellor.
